Welcome back to another Catch-Up Monday post where I sum up all the posts that have happened since the last one of these posts. I have again missed a number of days here but am trying to get back into the swing of writing and posting. The post after the last Catch-Up Monday was an Entertainment Wednesday post where I continued looking through the songs in my playlist and providing a YouTube video to allow you to listen to it. The songs I went through this week were; Dreamer in Disguise, Dreamer in Disguise (Reprise), Epilogue, Evening Prayers, Fixer Upper, For the First Time in Forever, For the First Time in Forever (Reprise), Forgiven, A Freak Like Me Needs Company, and Frozen Heart. I then had a very long break until yesterday for a "week that was" post. In this post I discussed the end of term, a brilliant Methods score I received on my first 3/4 SAC and an update on what has been going on with my Kokoda program (which is coming by very soon). Saturday then saw another random Saturday post where I discussed my reasons for not posting, Kokoda, Relay for Life, and Once Upon a Time. Yesterday (Sunday) was a post where I continued to look at some of the greatest Doctor Who moments. Just so you know, I am pre-writing and scheduling these posts which is why some of the times are at 12:30 and 1 in the morning.

Catch Up Monday (24/2 to 2/3)
Welcome to the inaugural weekly Catch-Up Monday post. This will only be a short post with a summation of all the posts of the week so that you are able to catch up on any posts you may have missed or just have an idea of what has been talked about that you may have missed. You may also find a segment that you might actually enjoy reading so, anyway, on with the post! The week started last Monday with the last fifty questions in a list of 100 really random questions that I found on the internet. I never realised how random the questions were until I started answering them (I did not read ahead) but you have those answers to look forward to if you go through the blog archive to the right. Monday also saw the announcement of this segment, the final day of the week without a segment now filled. I then missed Tuesday due to homework and Wednesday because it was my father's birthday and we went out for the whole night after school. We came back on Thursday however for another "At the Movies with Daily Lukey" segment where we continued our look through some of the highly anticipated films to be released later this year. The movies I looked at were Annie, Odd Thomas, Endless Love, Transcendence and Pinocchio. You should go check those out as some of them have trailers or posters available as well as a description of each underneath the headings. There are some pretty interesting movies to look forward to this year. We then came to a mixed bag of a "The Week that Was" segment as we mourned the loss of model-turned-television-personality Charlotte Dawson who fell victim to intense cyber-bullying causing depression. The subsequent post was dedicated to all those who have fallen victim to cyber bullying. The Sochi Winter Olympics were then discussed before I reflected on organising a Relay for Life team for my Kokoda group. You will probably get an update on how that is all going this Friday so stay tuned for that. I finished by discussing some of my training with the CFA which has recently started up (and the reason behind this short and easy to write weekly post).

A Productive Day but a Short Post
Today was actually a really good day and despite going out with friends for most of the day I still got a lot done. Let us start at the beginning. I had to be at Footscray station by 10:30 to meet up with friends so I caught the 9:50 train from Werribee which was set to get me there with time to spare. However, as the train arrived at Newport they made everyone get off because the train was defective. This meant waiting a few minutes to get a replacement train so I only managed to get to Footscray just on time, if not a little late. After this we went to get Pho (vietnamese noodle soup) and I embarrassed myself with chopsticks, then spoons (yes, plural) before my amazing friend had enough entertainment and went to get me a fork. After this we rushed into Melbourne Central to see Catching Fire in Hoyts Xtreme Screen. Luckily we prebooked tickets so we had the best seats. After the movie we walked around a bit before going our separate ways. This is when I went christmas shopping and bought everything I needed for my family.
All in all, it was a great and productive day. See you tomorrow!

Random Thought Saturday: A Hectic Week
Welcome to another random post here on Daily Lukey. You may have realised that the
"Random Thought Friday" segment has been moved to a Saturday and this is just for ease-of-posting reasons. Fridays are generally busy but on Saturday I do not have school so I do not have to worry about been too busy unless I am going away for the whole day or an extended period of time. Anyway, I wish to apologise (and since you can not stop me I am going to do it anyway) for the amount of short posts this week. Even though it was the last day of the year for school it was still a very busy one. For instance, on Monday I had school all day, then a pathologist's appointment, helping the PFA prepare for Speech Night and attending CFA so there was only a very short post explaining why there would only be some short posts this week. Tuesday, however, was a different story altogether. I had to leave home at 7am to go the Leadership Forum at MacRob in the morning and then went straight from there to Speech Night rehearsal when I never came home until after Speech Night was ended which was around 10:30pm. Even that I had to stay up a little later to have a shower so I never actually went to bed until 11pm and by this time I was so tired that any post I tried to write would make absolutely no sense. I would have scheduled a post to come out on this day but I only found out the day before (Monday) that I had to go to the Forum at MacRob and the only spare time I had on Monday night I spent preparing for the Forum with the other students from my school who were going. It was a very hectic week.
The busy week continued on Wednesday with my Piano Concert on that night. I was pretty awesome on stage (come on, I can dream can I not?) if I do say so myself and I played Gnossienne No. 3 by Erik Satie which is an awesome song by the way. Wow, I am using awesome too much today. Anyway, no matter how awesome I was it did not change the fact that I was still busy. Plus, at this time I was still freaking out about what the doctor meant when he wanted me to come in right away. The result was a lot of stress and a short-ish post. Thursday was yet another busy night even though it was the last day of school for the year. It was mainly busy because I finally went to see the Doctor (and was pleasantly surprised at the result [Fantastic]) and then on the way home we also did some shopping. As a result, the remainder of the night I spent preparing for Orientation Day the next day. By prepare I mean relax. By relax I mean sleep. Long story short, the day ended with another short post. Oddly enough, it was the longest post I have ever written on my phone which was a big achievement for me. It took me a while but it was worth it. Plus, it probably helped that I was not so tired that I just wanted it finished. Friday finally came around and I was able to relax for once. Orientation Day was over along with my time at school until the start of February. Well this post has changed from random to a week in the life of Luke. That should totally be a new segment! I just need to work out when to put it now though. Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday are taken and Wednesday, Monday and Friday are no good for me. By process of elimination I guess that this new series will most likely be posted on a Thursday. Keep an eye out over the coming weeks for this new segment! You read it here first, on Daily Lukey. This is not because I am getting lazy but because since I returned my School laptop I need to use the home computer. For some reason, the size of the words are different when I type them so it may seem like I am writing more when, in reality, I am writing less. I just want to apologise in advance for this.
