Apology and Disclaimer
Hey guys, you are not forgotten. I am incredibly apologetic about the lack of posts recently it is just that things suddenly have become very busy. I have had to move my brother out of this room (hooray) and into the piano room which meant moving the piano into my room along with the desk and computer and moving the book case out of my room. On top of this I started Year 11 on Friday and also bought a new phone. I bought a Telstra Urbane (Prepaid) as my old Galaxy Ace kept crashing and had too little memory (even with max expansion). I am actually writing this post on my new phone which is exciting. I can not promise anything but we should be back to normal tomorrow with a Doctor Who Sunday post. It is a bit of a bummer that I missed out on all those posts because otherwise tonight would have been my 300th post.
I am sorry guys. See you tomorrow.

Another Busy Day
Seriously guys, you would think I would have time for longer posts but alas, not today. I do hope that tomorrow will bring another full-length Doctor Who Sunday post. Today was busy for a number of reasons. From 7am to 12pm I was training for Kokoda (group training session). After that I came home and had a shower and lunch before going driving (learners practice) followed by a long visit to Nana Vals. I was already tired from a long hard training session (which I know I am going to feel tomorrow) and this did not help. Luckily I could relax after all that so it was not too bad.
Hopefully tomorrow is better. See you tomorrow!

Hot and Tired
I am very sorry for the no-post-yesterday. As you may know, the past few days in Melbourne have all been very hot. This can sometimes lead to power-outages as well as physical exhaustion. Sandy has also been inside due to the extreme heat so finding some time to write these posts have been hard. I am looking forward to tomorrow though. I have training for Kokoda and tomorrow we are going to do sand dune training in Torquay. If we have time we will also cool down in the water. It should be fun.
Sorry for the recent spate of no posts. See you tomorrow!

Creepy Driving
Tonight I went driving again and it was another very creepy experience. Aside from the impenetrable darkness, there were a lot of weird noises and things coming out of the dark and reflecting off in the distance. It did not really help that we were the only ones on the road and were, occasionally, on dirt roads in the middle of the road. It was a bad time to be walking around in a black and white suit. I am not the bravest of people so at least I remained alert.
I am sorry for another short post but I had a surprisingly busy day. See you tomorrow!

2014: What May Be
Finally 2014 has arrived. Many doubted we would make it past 2012 but here we are now. As is to be expected at the end of a great year for many, we often find ourselves looking at what once was. Even though I am a big believer in "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it" I also believe that sometimes we need to take a look into our future and what this may mean for us. Personally, I am looking forward greatly to how this year will unfold because there is so much that I am looking forward to and so many new things I want to experience. We only get to live each moment once so we should always try to make them memorable. Carpe Diem (sorry, but I can not do accents on my phone). I wish that in 2014 I get the courage to do some things and the strength to do some others. 2014 is, like any future, a mystery but I can always hope for a great one.
Happy New Year everyone! See you tomorrow.

I'm Back!
So hey guys! I'm back! That probably sounds weird but the posts over the past few days were all scheduled to give myself a break over the Christmas season. I am sorry to have to come back with a short post but I had a busy few days. Over the coming days I will be posting some reflections and observations on some aspects of Christmas. I was going to write a brief review of The Time of the Doctor but I thought that after the last few posts about Doctor Who you would be sick of it so I gave it a break.
Eleven's hour is over and twelve's has just begun. See you tomorrow!

Another Apology and Disclaimer
Before we continue I just want to address the lack of post yesterday. This was not supposed to be the case as I had scheduled a post to be released but for whatever reason it did not post. However, due to some computer troubles (i.e. The computer not working) I was unable to go on Blogger and see what was going on. I am very sorry for this but there is nothing I can do as you can not manage things like scheduling on the phone application (which is very basic by the way). However, when I went on the application to write this post the post from yesterday did not show up which makes me think it was somehow deleted which is very annoying. Again, I am sorry. The disclaimer is that until we fix the computer there will be no long posts as they will all need to be written and posted on my phone.
I am very sorry for all this. See you tomorrow!

Weird News Tuesday: Wednesday Edition
The next story talks about two of the most searched topics on Google as well as a third which, ironically, are all concerned about life and death. The first two are for deceased actors Cory Monteith (best known for his role as Finn Hudson on Glee) and the more recently deceased actor Paul Walker (best known for his role in the Fast and Furious franchise). The third is of the royal birth of baby George to his parents William and Kate. It really is wonderful in this age that we can just search whatever we want (and I mean whatever we want) on Google and receive a number of results. In other news, there is a "raging" debate on whether children who misbehave in school should have to say "sorry". Some are even going as far to say that they should not actually use the word because they have no idea what it means but rather use it as a means of escaping a worse punishment. I never knew that this "raging" debate was going on but apparently it is, and it makes the news! You may have realised by now that it is a lot harder to find odd news stories that are not on the home page when there is no tab marked "odd-spot" or something similar. It does make finding the stories harder but I will not give up on it yet. New extremes of entertainment are emerging with a 20km endurance challenge called the Tough Mudder becoming increasingly popular around the World. It is basically a 20km obstacle course challenging common fears such as heights, claustrophobia, fire and electricity (oh, you better be scared because that electricity is coming to get you). It really does seem gruelling and very tough yet many people are flocking to it by the week. It began in Harvard all the way over in America and already has arrived at our shores in a very short space of time. In 'exciting' (and somewhat selfish) news, Australian scientists have reason to believe that the New Zealand Kiwi bird may have been descended from an Australian animal. As the story says, Australia is giving New Zealand "the bird". It has also been discovered that perhaps female scientists are 'more creative' when it comes to science meaning that they are more likely to be at the forefront of innovation. All this because of the way women view abstract art. I am just going to say that it was probably a female who carried out this investigation. There really is a lot of weird things going on in our world these days.
It is very hard to find weird stories on The Australian (plus I could barely read any of it because of their stupid digital subscriptions). See you tomorrow!

Merry Christmas... Still Short
I am so sorry for having to post all these short pieces but Mum is on the computer all day working on her year in review video that always takes a lot longer than it should. This means having to write posts using the Blogger application on my phone which can be very annoying. For one thing it does not let me format pictures which means they never look right and because it is on my phone it takes a lot longer to type out, seriously. It also is harder to gauge how much I have actually written because you can not show as much on your phone. At least I can go to sleep now though because I am really tired after the firecall I had to go to at midnight last night. Plus I have to get up early tomorrow for the CFA as well to help Weribee Zoo test their evacuation plan. At least it could be somewhat fun.
Anyway, sorry again for these short late posts. See you tomorrow.

VCE, Apologies and Christmas
Before I begin, I just wish to congratulate everyone who completed their VCE regardless of whether they got less than 30 or more than 99. It is an achievement to complete your VCE and good luck with your future. I wish to continue by apologising for the short post today and, probably, tomorrow. However, regular posts should resume by this Wednesday. A further announcement is that Christmas is coming up (okay, that part was not the announcement) and in recognition of that (only 9 more sleeps) all posts that are not part of segments or short will be Christmas related so get excited for that in the lead up to Christmas. On Christmas there may be a normal-sized post but chances are that it will be a short phone-written one as it is christmas and I will be busy.
You have to love the Holiday spirit. See you tomorrow.

Apology, Explanation, Disclaimer
Today's post is going to be an expansion, apology and disclaimer all rolled into one so get excited! Or do not, whatever suits you. First, I am very sorry for the lack of post yesterday but that was due to a busy day finishing with King Kong last night. Again, I am sorry for this but sometimes life gets in the way. Second, I wish to warn and apologise for a likely increase in these short phone-written posts. This is because every year Mum makes a year in review video and for this she uses the computer in the piano room. Since I had to return my school laptop the only other computer in the house is horrible because it is really slow and restarts every five minutes just because it can. This makes it very hard to write posts. However, over the next few days Mum is working so I will try to schedule some posts including a new segment (I was going to say exciting but that could be false advertising) as well as the usual ones. Basically, this post is my apology and explanation/disclaimer for these short post which I have to write on my phone which takes so much longer.
I hope these holidays provide me with some inspiration. See you tomorrow.

A Productive Day but a Short Post
Today was actually a really good day and despite going out with friends for most of the day I still got a lot done. Let us start at the beginning. I had to be at Footscray station by 10:30 to meet up with friends so I caught the 9:50 train from Werribee which was set to get me there with time to spare. However, as the train arrived at Newport they made everyone get off because the train was defective. This meant waiting a few minutes to get a replacement train so I only managed to get to Footscray just on time, if not a little late. After this we went to get Pho (vietnamese noodle soup) and I embarrassed myself with chopsticks, then spoons (yes, plural) before my amazing friend had enough entertainment and went to get me a fork. After this we rushed into Melbourne Central to see Catching Fire in Hoyts Xtreme Screen. Luckily we prebooked tickets so we had the best seats. After the movie we walked around a bit before going our separate ways. This is when I went christmas shopping and bought everything I needed for my family.
All in all, it was a great and productive day. See you tomorrow!

A Late Disclaimer
Sorry for another late post but an unexpected event arose that I spent the majority of the night preparing for. I am sorry guys. Tomorrow night will also have to be a short one as I leave home at 7am in the morning and will not get home until late. Partly this is due to my School's Speech Night but it is mostly because of something I will most likely talk about in tomorrow's post.
Sorry again, see you tomorrow.
