Catch Up Monday (3/03 to 24/03)

It has been a while since the last Catch-Up Monday so there is a lot to catch up on! Luckily, I have been incredibly busy with training for Kokoda (check us out on Channel 10 News tonight at 5pm [Victoria]) and school work so a lot of days did miss out on posts but anyway, there is still some to catch up on. March 7 saw a post continuing the series on highly anticipated films of 2014. The films that were discussed were; Neighbours, A Millions Ways to Die in the West, Devil's Knot, Belle and The Boxtrolls. March 11 then saw another Weird News Tuesday post where, as well as looking at some pretty weird news stories, I reassured you that my blog was not forgotten. The stories discussed were; the woman whose body was only found after six years because her bills were no longer getting paid; the story of a 'too drunk' gambler who is suing a Las Vegas Casino for a $500,000 debt he accrued while being drunk; a story of Darren Lyons turning from Paparazzo to Geelong Mayor; investors preferring business pitches from handsome men; a Sicilian 'space program' sent a model cannolo into the statosphere; the mess left behind after the annual Rio Carnival in Rio de Janeiro; and how the Police in Stockholm had to disperse an angry crowd after a job office mistakenly called 61,000 people for a recruitment meeting. I then started a new series in the second post of my Entertainment Wednesday post where I am going through the Songs on my phone. The songs I went through on the 12th of March were; Alma Mater, And Eve Was Weak, Applause, Artpop, Atlas, Aura, Be Prepared, Bouncing Off the Walls, Boy Falls from the Sky, and Bruce. March 14 witnessed a "Week that Was" post that centred entirely on the mystery of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 that went missing and is still baffling people all around the world. March 19 then saw some more songs from my phone. These songs were; Carrie, Carrie (Reprise), Dark Side, The Destruction, DIY World, Do Me A Favor, Do You Want to Build a Snowman, Don't Cry for Me Argentina, Donatella, and Dope. This then brings me to the last post before this one which was a continuation of the Most Anticipated Films of 2014 series. This week, I looked at Hot Tub Time Machine 2, The Book of Life, Welcome to Yesterday, Jersey Boys and This is Where I Leave You.

Hope you have been able to catch up on what has not been going on around here. See you tomorrow!
