I Can See the Finish Line

Just to clear things up. I am not writing this post on my phone as I am about to complete a fun run or something. Anyway, sorry for another short post guys but tomorrow I have my Science and Health and Physical Education exam and once those two are done I have no more exams! Hooray! The end is in sight. However, these two subjects are all theory (except for some of the chemistry stuff in Science) so there is a lot of studying going into these last two exams (as there was for my other exams). I know that once I finish it though I am going to go home and relax. Just relaxing for the first time in weeks would be nice. I will probably watch Fringe. At least there is no school on Friday so I have plenty of time to catch up on some sleep over this three day week-end which includes the 50th Anniversary Special of Doctor Who. At 6:50 am this Sunday you all know where and what I will be doing. That is right: watching The Day of the Doctor on ABC! So exciting!!!

I can finally see the end of exams, see you tomorrow!

School is Back

Yes, you heard it here first, well, read at least. Term 4 of School is now back in session and students across Victoria are struggling to get out of Holiday mode. Seriously, arriving at school this morning you would expect to see fresh-faced students. Sure, there were some who were like this but the rest were either no different to their usual selves or looked like they had not slept all holidays. Then there was all the homework issues with people not paying enough attention on the last week of term as to what homework was due over the holidays. At least today was an easy day so it was a nice start to Term 4.

We began the day with what was meant to be a double theoretical Physical Education and Health class. Luckily, our assignment was on coaching and so we had to hand in a lesson plan to teach a skill before the end of term three and then today we carried out our lesson plans. It was a great way to start back to Term 4. By third and fourth period English people just seemed really tired and not with the program as when the teacher would ask questions it would be like we were all asleep. Granted, context is not exactly the most interesting of topics but still, this was worse than usual. Then we finished the day with Humanities where we worked on writing up the first draft of our written report for the individual research project we have been working on all semester. So that was basically individual work where most people talked while working (who would not?) and it was another good double period. So the first day of the last term of the year was a relaxing one but I know that this will all change very soon when we get back into the swing of things. I wish the rest of the term was like today but then it would probably be really boring.

This year has appeared to pass by pretty quickly, before we know it the year will be over and it will be holidays again. See you tomorrow!

Essays, Tests, Assignments and Revenge

SO MUCH WORK! The thought on most of my classmates minds this week. It is a busy week, even though it is the last of Term 1. Today (Monday) we had to write a Text Response Essay on Bali Rai's "City of Ghosts" which was simple enough, quite an easy way to start the week.

So luckily there was only a quiet start to the week. However, we have a Science Assignment due on Wednesday, a Unit 1 Maths Methods SAC on Matrices on Thursday, a Linear Algebra normal Maths test also on Thursday and a Health and Physical Education Nutrition Assignment due on Thursday. So there really is a lot of stuff going on this week which should hopefully finish in quiet holidays as we won't have a class to start anything new! Here's hoping. Anyway, I understand why they give us all this stuff and why it is due before the holidays and all the rest but I just think it is a bit annoying that we can't enjoy the last week of Term 1 instead of working so hard! Anyway, there are 3 more terms so here's hoping they are quieter, though they most likely won't be.

Also, is it just me or is REVENGE amazingly addictive? I am just so addicted to it and I have been so since the first episode was aired in Australia last year. Now in its second season I can't believe how addicting and intriguing it still is. The writers are amazing because there are so many layers and foreshadowing. Not to mention all the TWISTS AND TURNS! If you don't know what Revenge is, who are you? Research it immediately! Tonight's episode is a new one (well to Australia anyway) in Season 2 where Victoria Grayson's Mother comes to town, things are bound to get interesting! CAN'T WAIT! I love Revenge! The actors and writers are so good and you should really check it out!

May the odds be ever in your favour, see you tomorrow!
