I think I have finally come up with a segment idea for Mondays and do not worry, it is not about random questions. Since Monday nights are really busy for me as I have CFA as well as homework I thought that I needed something easy to do that would not interfere with any of that. My first thought was a No-Post Monday segment where Mondays would be a no-post day but, however, I decided against that idea. Instead, I am going to have a "Catch-Up Monday" segment. This segment summarises the posts of the previous week with links to the different ones so that you can catch up on anything you actually might want to read. It will also be shorter so you do not have to worry about taking a while reading it. I am going to start this segment next week and, as promised, am going to finish the rest of the random questions from last week. Click here for last week's questions and answers.
51. Have you ever won a trophy?
Yeah, I have won a few actually. I won a few through different Spelling Bees (I used to be quite the speller, emphasis on 'used to be'), some through school and others outside of school.
52. Are you a good cook?
Not really. I can cook some things but other things I also freak out about and over-think. Even simple things like 2-minute noodles took a while as I never quite understood what it meant by "bring to the boil". I mean, when is enough bubbles enough bubbles?
53. Do you know how to pump your own gas?
This is clearly an American questionnaire. Anyway, I do not have my driver's license yet but I do have my learner's. However, I still do not know how to fill up the petrol tank properly.
54. If you could meet any one person (from history or currently alive), who would it be?
I think I would like to meet Tina Fey in person as she just seems like such a funny person. I feel like I already answered a question with "Tina Fey" as the answer last week but, anyway.
55. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to school?
Yeah, this is definitely American. In Australia, it is weird to have a school without a uniform so yeah, I have worn a uniform to school.
56. Do you touch-type?
Please, I am way past touch-type. I get enough practice from writing these posts every day.
57. What's under your bed?
Under my bed there is a chest of drawers, an exercise ball, an old piano stool, a CD player and a lot of other random junk.
58. Do you believe in love at first sight?
I do not actually know. For some people it may be possible in some weird circumstances but I really do not know.
59. Think fast, what do you like right now?
Lady Gaga. That was the first thing that came into my head. Probably because the last thing I saw on Facebook before I started writing this post was a picture of her.
60. Where were you on Valentine's Day?
Home, writing a blog post most likely.
61. What time do you get up?
I normally wake up at 7am on a school day or 6:30 when I have to get my own way to school. On a weekend it depends on what I am doing as to when I wake up.
62. What was the name of your first pet?
Ginger, he was our cat. His colour was ginger. My dog's name is Sandy, he is a sandy colour. We are very creative people.
63. Who is the second last person to call you?
One of my friends, her name is Heidi.
64. Is there anything going on this weekend?
I have music as usual on Saturday and than hiking on Sunday as part of training for Kokoda. I do not know if I am doing anything else.
65. How are you feeling right now?
Well, I have a runny nose that will not stop but apart from that I am pretty happy.
66. What do you think about the most?
Probably school work and what I have in terms of homework and classes. I do not really keep track of what I am thinking and for how long so I would not really know.
67. What time do you get up in the morning?
This is the same question as earlier just with another word at the end. If you want another answer, just look back.
68. If you had A Big Win in the Lottery, how long would you wait to tell people?
I am pretty sure that I would yell out in celebration and then, if no one was around, probably call my parents or one of my friends and tell them the exciting news. Now I think about it, I may have just sent a quick group text to everyone on my contacts list before I call anyone.
69. Who would you tell first?
Probably my parents, then my friends.
70. What is the last movie that you saw at the cinema?
That would probably be Frozen.
71. Do you sing in the shower?
Who does not?
72. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
Who knows, probably somewhere like Big W or something where I could get a lot of things all in the one place. I know, I am such a cultured person. You do not need to tell me, I know.
73. What do you do most when you are bored?
Go on Facebook or YouTube.
74. What do you do for a living?
I am a student, I learn for a living.
75. Do you love your job?
I like school, if that could count for this question.
76. What did you want to be when you grew up?
I either want to be a Civil Engineer or a Lawyer. Even a career in IT would not be too bad.
77. If you could have any job, what would you want to do/be?
I do not know, I am still young. The answer is probably the same as above.
78. Which came first the chicken or the egg?

Maybe Phillip Island or somewhere beautiful in the Mountains.

I do not have a license.
82. What are your best physical features?
I just love myself so much it is hard to choose just one. Do not worry, I am just joking.
83. What are your best characteristics?
I do not like answering these sort of questions, they are more questions for other people.
84. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation where would you go?
Paris
85. What kind of books do you like to read?
Mostly those set in dystopian futures, I really like some of those stories.
86. Where would you want to retire to?
This is the same as question 80, look above.
87. What is your favourite time of day?
Night time when I can finally go to sleep.
88. Where did you grow up?
In my home-town of Werribee.
89. How far away from your birthplace do you live now?
Well, I was born in Williamstown Hospital which is a thirty minute drive away so I guess that would count?
90. What are you reading now?
Twelve Angry Men by Reginald Rose for Literature
91. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I am not actually sure. I like the night better than the morning but I still get grumpy when I am tired either way.
92. Can you touch your nose with your tongue.
I must look really weird right now but no, I can not.
93. Can you close your eyes and raise your eyebrows?
Now I look really weird but yes.
94. Do you have pets?
I have a dog named Sandy and two chickens.
95. How many rings before you answer the phone?
It depends on how long it takes for me to answer. I try to answer as quickly as possible but it depends on where it is.
96. What is your best childhood memory?
From when I was still in the single-digits it would have to be a family holiday to the Gold Coast.
97. What are some of the different jobs that you have had in your life?

100. What inspires you?
People who try hard and fight through their difficulties and barriers to show that anything is possible.
That is all the random-ness I have for now so if you want more random you should probably check out my "Random Thought Saturday" posts. See you tomorrow!

Random Questions Time!
That is right folks, the time I have run out of ideas for segments! Mondays are free days up to now and until I can come up with an idea for a segment it shall remain this way. While I try and find a segment idea I thought that today I would look for some random questions online and then answer them. Is it weird that Google spell-check underlined "online" as wrong (there, it did it again). Though, since you guys can not see that this is probably really weird. Okay, onto the questions!
1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4.

You Know Something is Boring When...
So you know those movies or television shows you start to watch thinking they will be good and then ten minutes in you are bored as hell. Where did that phrase "bored as hell" actually come from anyway? So today I have compiled a list of things that I find I (and others) do when they are watching something and get bored. Sometimes you just have to sit through it though and fight through the boredom. Though if something is boring it probably means it is not that good so the best course of action is to stop watching it.
Check Facebook every ten seconds. When I am bored I am constantly finding myself refreshing Facebook every ten seconds trying to find something to distract myself with. Sometimes I scroll through the same news feed ten times.
Play Candy Crush on your iPad/Phone. Okay, so this is something my Mum does a lot, personally I do not actually play Candy Crush (I used to but got out before I got addicted). In fact, Mum is actually on her iPad playing Candy Crush right now as we watch A Good Day to Die Hard. Yeah, it is a disappointing movie.
Write a blog post on your daily blog. Yeah, if this seems oddly specific it is because it is all about me. My boredom often equates to your reading. Imagine what I could have wasted hours of my life on over the past few months instead of writing for this blog. You got me, I am doing this right now.
Watch YouTube. That was actually something I was doing before I began writing this post. I was watching some old X-Factor performances on YouTube and the snippet of Lady Gaga's new song Venus set to be released with her new album Artpop.
Check Qooh.me or Ask.fm every two seconds to see if anyone has asked you a question. This way you will have something to distract you from the boredom that is your life at the moment. The amount of statuses I see of people asking others to ask them questions when they are "bored" is tremendous. Do not ask why I quoted that word in the previous sentence, even I do not know.
Read. One of the many things people do to avoid boredom is to read. I know a few people who do this a lot (myself included). Some people get more bored than others and so they read a book to keep themselves entertained.
Drawing is yet another of the major things that people do when they are bored. If you have a pen nearby and some paper your hands are going to be itching to do something. Drawing is going to be top of the agenda.
Remember, it is okay to be bored. Just be respectful of others when you are trying to fight your boredom. See you tomorrow!

Facts about Me!
So as you should all know, it is currently the school holidays (between Terms 3 and 4) and I decided that, after much deliberation, I had nothing to write about except some other things I was saving. As a result I have decided to continue with the 800 questions I found in July. Click here to read the first part of this series of posts. As always, this is a sign of writers block. I was thinking of actually writing about this topic but, ironically, I had writers block. Let's begin!
31) Are you a good babysitter? I have not really had much experience other than my cousins so I do not really know.
32) Are you a good mechanic? Oh yeah, totally. You guys know me, always going on about the tools I have in the garage. Seriously though, I am not really and my expertise does not surpass changing and checking the oil and water.
33) Are you a good diplomat? Nope, never had the chance to try.
34) Are you a good employee? I really should start skipping the questions without relevance.
35) Are you a good dresser? The people in Milan model their clothes from what I wear. I am a fashion god so yes, I am a horrible dresser.
36) Are you a good swimmer? I guess so, I can swim. Not very fast but I can confidently swim.
37) Are you a good skier? No, I would probably fall over with each step.
38) Are you a good lover? Okay, these questions are getting really out of my experiences.
39) Are you a good musician? I can play the piano but beyond that my musical skills do not stretch so far. Even with Piano I am not that good but I am okay.
40) Are you a good comedian? Do you read my blog? Of course I am a horrible comedian.
Have my answers whet your appetite yet? Let's continue shall we?
41) Are you a good cleaner? Once I do clean I am good but the whole problem is starting.
42) Are you a good actor? Nope, I did a drama thing earlier in Term 3 but that was just pretty easy.
43) Are you a good writer? Well I write a daily blog. I may not be a good writer but I am dedicated.
44) Have you ever been bungee jumping? No, not my scene.
45) Have you ever been canoeing/kayaking? Yes, I actually own two canoes so we used to go along the Werribee River which was very nice on the right day.
46) What types of holidays do you prefer? Theme Parks or relaxation
47) Whats the furthest you've ever been on Holiday? America, specifically California and Florida
48) What was your favourite holiday? I would have to say America.
49) Where would your dream holiday be? It would be to New York City in America
50) Can you tap dance? No
Satisfied yet? I would not think so, shall we continue? Well it is my blog so I guess I decide.
51) What is your favourite zoo animal? Pandas because they are just so cute.
52) What is your favourite sport? I would have to say Tennis, sorry guys but that is my scene (not really, I just really wanted to say that)
53) What's your favourite food? Probably pasta or something similar.
54) What's your favourite pizza topping? Cheese, I like
55) What's your favourite film? The Hunger Games (#nojudge)

59) What's your favourite TV program? Doctor Who of course, I'm a Whovian until the end.
60) What's your favourite Boyband? Well, I do get all hot and bother by One Direction I mean they are so totally hot and all. I do not really know. But they are pretty hot.
Check back during my next writing block session for more questions and answers, see you tomorrow!
31) Are you a good babysitter? I have not really had much experience other than my cousins so I do not really know.

Random Questions
So hey guys, tonight I got a little bored and I kept thinking of what to write about and then I would forget it ten seconds later. As a result I have settled for something a little more tamer for today's post. I went on the internet (as you do in today's society) and searched for some random questions to answer in today's post. I found this page with 800 random questions on it and, obviously, I am not going to be answering all 800 in today's post but it just means that if another one of these posts comes out later you'll know that the questions are a continuation. I am not putting a number on the amount of questions I will answer because it all depends on how long it takes to answer each one. Let's get it started then!
11) How many pairs of shoes do you own? I don't know, around four.
12) If you were Prime Minister/Ruler of the World what laws would you make? I wouldn't be silly enough to become a Prime Minister anyway.
13) If you were a super hero what powers would you have? Empathy, Deductive Reasoning, and Invisibility
14) And what would you hero name be? I don't know, something really corny like "Super Luke" or something. Probably would be "Legolukey" if I was just becoming lazy.
15) What outfit would you wear? Casual clothes so I would not stand out and look like the lunatic dressed as a superhero. People tend to keep away from those 'psychos'.
16) What was your last dream about? I can not actually remember many of my dreams. I have them and it is as if I wake up and instantly can not remember them so it seems as though time has just slipped by.
17) What would you do if you won Tatslotto? Save most of it, invest some if it and spend the rest. Probably go on a holiday. Okay, it may becoming a bit obvious I am editing some of the questions to make them more grammatically correct and relevant.
18) Would you like to build/design your own house? No, because if something goes wrong I would have no one to blame but myself. I would feel much safer going with a larger firm I could trust (and blame if things went wrong).
19) What form of Public Transport do you prefer? Trams because they are uniquely Melbourne with a few copy-cats in places around the world.
20) What talents do you have? Well, I write this daily blog and I guess I can play the Piano but I do not know if you would call that a talent.
At the rate I am at now I am going to stop when I reach 30 questions today. Hopefully I can write a more interesting post for tomorrow. Also, check out the pictures on the Facebook Page which includes all the pictures from this blog (and some that did not make the cut). MARCH currently out now with APRIL coming out very soon. Just follow the link on the pages tab to the right.
21) Can you juggle? I can juggle two balls which I learnt in Drama in Year 8 at my old school.
22) Can you solve a Rubik's Cube? Hell no, I just give up after a while because whenever I do manage to get something I mess it up by trying to get another.
23) Do you have a cherished childhood teddy bear? Not really, I used to have a green platypus when I was younger so that is somewhere in my wardrobe. I also used to have a Karak (the mascot of the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne) but Sandy has that now.
24) Are you psychic in any way? Psychotic maybe
25) Are you a good dancer? I don't know, you would have to ask the mirror (or the dog who constantly stares through the glass-door).
26) Are you a good singer? You would probably have to ask the shower that question.
27) Are you a good cook? Definitely not. Mum is the cook in our family. I am hopeless unless it comes in a box.
28) Are you a good artist? I don't think so.
29) Are you a good listener? Again, you would probably have to ask somebody else. I will listen to you if you are trying to tell me something.
30) Are you a good public speaker? That depends on who you ask. Sometimes I can be while at other times I get nervous. Seriously, I made a better speech in front of a large crowd than I did in front of the smaller crowd at a school assembly.
I hope this helped you learn a little bit more about me.
Never forget a question never asked will never be answered, see you tomorrow.
1) What's your name? Luke (don't think I am writing my full name although most of my readers already know it)
2) How old are you? 16
3) When's your Birthday? 9th May
4) What star sign does that make it? Taurus
5) What's you favourite colour? Purple of course!
6) What's your lucky number? I don't really have one actually, if I did probably 9 (see above)
7) Do you have any pets? Have you been reading my blog recently? I have a dog, named Sandy (who has some pretty messed up logic) and two chickens who do not really have names.
8) Where are you from? Australia
9) How tall are you? I was 173 centimetres last time I checked at the start of the year.
10) What shoe size are you? I am a size 11
I'm only up to question 10 but I must say, how much does this girl want to know? Apparently these are questions she would ask people in getting to know them. That would be a very long interrogation.
11) How many pairs of shoes do you own? I don't know, around four.
12) If you were Prime Minister/Ruler of the World what laws would you make? I wouldn't be silly enough to become a Prime Minister anyway.

Why am I watching this?
Foreword: I am sorry about the lack of post yesterday (2/7/2013) as this post was supposed to be released at around 6pm last night but for some reason Blogger decided that it would rather not publish this post and it went unpublished. As a result, today there will be 2 posts including this one which was meant to go live last night. Be sure to check back again tonight (3/7/2013) at around 6pm (AEST) tonight for the 100th post! Again I am sorry about what happened and sincerely hope that it does not happen again.
Have you ever just sat in front of the television and just flicked through the channels because there was nothing else to do. Imagine one of those days when it is raining, you are home alone, have nothing to do and are incredibly bored. What do you do? Probably watch some television. But wait, there does not seem to be anything on that interests you. However, like most people (myself included) you just continue flicking through the channels wishing an unscheduled show to air. However, in the end you find yourself an hour later watching some show you have no interest in. Sometimes you really have to ask yourself "Why am I watching this?" Most of the time I do not have an answer. It really is a bit sad.
Sometimes we even experience this during prime-time television (around 6pm to 9pm). Especially during the period of the year where the networks do not air any of the good shows as the rating season is low. This, for me, is the worst time for television as there is nothing that interesting on and you just find yourself flicking through the channels and watching bits and pieces of all these boring shows. I mean, do you know how many times I have watched Antiques Roadshow during this period? Let's just say that there is a lot of junk on that show and I am getting really good at guessing how much an item is worth. I know how sad that sounds but that is the reality nearly all of us face. Have you ever had this experience? Chances are you have. Even now, as I write this I find myself thinking of all the good shows that are on tonight I want to watch (like Under the Dome) and then all the crap ones I will probably sit through while waiting for these shows (like The Mole which I do not think will be as good as the original series). That is all for today but be sure to check back tomorrow for the 100th post, hooray!
If you can not answer the question "Why am I watching this?" then stop watching it, see you tomorrow!

25 Random Questions Tag
So today I found these 25 random questions which is a tag or something. I found these questions here and so in today's post I am going to answer them. If you want to ask me a question then click on the link to the right that says Ask me Questions and it will link you to my Qooh.me account where you can anonymously ask me questions (you do not need an account). These questions will only show up if I reply to them and I promise to reply to all the appropriate questions. Enjoy and do not be afraid to ask!
1) Do you have any pets?
Yes I have a dog, called Sandy, and two chickens which we keep in a chicken enclosure in the backyard. I don't actually think they have names except one which I think is called Daisy which we got off some friends of my mother.
2) Name three things that are physically close to you.
Let's have a look. There's my laptop, my Samsung Galaxy Ace Phone [just wanted to be exact] and a pillow. I am comfy so don't judge about the pillow!
3) What's the weather like right now?
Well, as it's Winter in Australia at the moment it is actually pretty cold for once. Although, knowing Melbourne's weather it will probably be something entirely different by the time I go to bed. Thank the lord we have a fire place to warm us up.
4) Do you drive? If so, have you crashed?
Well I only got my Learners Permit on May 10 (I aced the test by the way [100%]) and so have only just begun to learn how to drive. I have not had any accidents whatsoever so fingers crossed I do not have one any time soon.
5) What time did you wake up this morning?
I woke up at 7 am and practiced my Piano for thirty minutes before getting ready for school. When I say 7 am I actually mean 7:10 am by the time I actually get out of bed.
6) When was the last time you showered?
Weird question but just over an hour ago actually. Moving on...
7) What was the last movie that I saw?
Great, now I have to use my horrible memory. Let's think... the last one I can remember seeing was Iron Man 3 with my friends for my Birthday but I have probably watched a movie since then. Nope, can't think of anything. See how bad my memory is.
8) What does your last message say?
My last text message reads "I told u last night!!!!!" which was me getting angry at my Dad because he forgot what time I finished after String Ensemble tonight after school. Yeah, that really shows my social life. My last message is to my father, great.
9) What is your ringtone?
I am actually not sure, wait a second and I'll call myself. Yeah, this is going to sound bad. It is actually Lady Gaga's Edge of Glory. It is not as bad as some people. A friend in my class has My Heart Will Go On as his ring tone and someone rang him during class and it really was a funny time. Wow, we have some good times in our class.
10) Have you ever been to a different country?
I have only ever left the country once and that was to go to America at the end of 2009 and the start of 2010. It was really cool and we went to Anaheim, California and Orlando, Florida. It was a really great experience (except for the plane rides, 17 hours one way is too much [thank the lord I was not going to Europe (24 damn hours on a plane)]).
11) Do you like Sushi?
Short question calls for a short answer. No.
12) Where do you buy your groceries?
Depends on where the specials are. Sometimes we get things at Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, IGA or even NQR. It all depends on what we need and if there are any specials. These questions are starting to sound very stalker-y (yeah, I made up a word).
13) Have you ever taken medication to help you sleep faster?
Yeah, I am always popping them pills to help me sleep. No, I do not actually. Although I wish I did because then I would not have to try to fall asleep through all the noise my brothers make.
14) How many siblings do you have?
I have two older brothers, Matthew and Joshua. Matthew is 22 and Joshua is turning 18 in November.
15) Do you have a desktop computer or a laptop?
We have two desktop computers and I have a school laptop which I use. I am probably going to ask for a laptop this Christmas as I can only use the school laptop throughout the school year and have to give it back at the end of each year. This means no laptop over the Summer holidays (cue rain and On my Own music).
16) How old will you be turning on your next birthday?
Next May I will be turning 17, wow, that sounds weird.
17) Do you wear contacts or glasses?
I wear glasses because we cannot all have perfect vision. I wish I did have perfect vision though. I do not think I will ever use contacts because I just can not bear to put any fingers near my eyes. It just really freaks me out because I think I am going to poke it. Glasses for the win!
18) Do you colour your hair?
No, I do not colour my hair. That was a very interesting answer.
19) Tell me something you are planning to do today?
Okay, now this just sounds like a stalker. But I guess since it's a question. Well, it is already 7:30 pm and so there is not a lot of time left before I go to bed but my plans for the rest of the night are: finish this post, study for Maths Methods and watch tonight's episode of Revenge.
20) When was the last time you cried?
Just two seconds ago when I read some of these answers. I should re-title this post the tragic life of a Lukey. Seriously though, I do not remember the last time I cried, probably when I watched the Catching Fire teaser trailer when it came out. I mean, President Snow just wanted to be like, why can't anyone see that? Why?
21) What is your perfect pizza topping?
This is going to sound bland but I prefer just pineapple, ham and cheese on my pizza. Hawaiian all the way!
22) Which do you prefer, hamburger or cheeseburger?
I am not actually sure but I think it would probably be the cheeseburger because I like cheese. Just saying, I like cheese and would probably therefore prefer a cheeseburger over a hamburger.
23) Have you ever had an all-nighter?
I have had one all-nighter in my 16 years of life and that was when I stayed over at a friend's house when I was 12. So you see I live the life, going to bed at a reasonable hour, totally rebel.
24) What is your eye colour?
I think my eye colour is hazel, emphasis on I think.
25) Can you taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke?
I do not actually drink any of those full-sugar soft drinks but I have heard that Pepsi is supposed to be sweeter. I do know that Pepsi Max is a whole lot stronger than Diet Coke and Coke Zero. But Pepsi Max is actually a pretty strong drink.
Well, that is all for today and if you read through all the way to here then good for you. If you want to answer some of these questions in the comments or on your own blog or Facebook or whatever then feel free to do so. Just to reiterate you can ask me anonymous questions via the link on the right that says Ask me Questions. I will read them and reply to all the appropriate ones. Do not be afraid to ask!
May the odds be ever in your favour, see you tomorrow!
